Safe and Sound Visitation Monitoring provides an atmosphere for parents and children to experience positive and enriching activities together in as natural of an environment as possible. Visits can take place in any child friendly and age appropriate environment – the possibilities are endless.

Our Monitors will accompany your family to nearby attractions such as parks, theaters, museums, bowling alleys, special events, etc. if there are no restrictions from the Court. Per your Court Order for Supervised Visitation, you decide upon the visitation schedule and we will provide the supervision.

Safe and Sound Visitation Monitoring provides a safe alternative for parents to pick up and drop off their child(ren) when the courts and/or parties determine that a conflict exists between parents and requires a neutral third party to monitor or oversee the exchanges to ensure the safety of the child(ren) and to prevent the child(ren) from being exposed to parental conflicts. Some locations where Monitored Visitation Exchanges can take place are parking lots, shopping centers, police stations and any public place.

At Safe and Sound, the safety and security of all parties is our first priority. We aim to make all transitions for children between their parents as smooth and pain free as possible and to ensure a conflict free environment by staggering arrival and departure times.

In addition, Safe and Sound Visitation Monitoring will provide the Court with a summary of documented observations of their physical condition and emotional well-being prior to and after visits.

As with Supervised Visitation Monitoring, Monitored Exchanges are also available depending on Visitation Monitor and parent availability. 

At Safe and Sound, we provide safe, neutral, and professional monitored property exchanges throughout San Diego County and surrounding areas. Our service assists with the videotaping of Court Ordered property exchanges to insure safety, comfort, and adherence to the Court Order.

This service helps prevent conflict and supports compliance with Court-Ordered property divisions.

Our goal is to make transitions smoother and safer for everyone involved.

What Happens During a Monitored Property Exchange

• Exchanges are conducted at either the location of the property or at the Safe and Sound Center.
• The parties will participate in a brief meeting over Zoom with their professional exchange monitor in order to advise the parties of the ground rules and review the Court Order. 
• A professional property exchange monitor is present throughout the exchange to observe, document, and ensure that the process remains calm and appropriate.
• Parties may or my not have direct contact during the property exchange. 
• Our staff carefully follows all Court Orders, Restraining Orders, safety guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
